What the Court keeps
The short version: the Court keeps your case for 30 days, sends it to an AI to write the ruling, and then forgets it.
What is stored
- The names you type, the matter in dispute, your arguments and rebuttals.
- The ruling.
- How many times each side pressed the bribe button. Bribes are IOUs. No money moves.
- How many times a verdict card was shared or downloaded (a count, nothing else).
- To limit how many cases one person can file per day: a random browser id and your IP address, kept for one day.
Who else sees it
- Anyone with the case link can watch the case, including the arguments and the ruling.
- Anthropic: the names, the dispute, the arguments and the rebuttals are sent to Anthropic's AI (Claude) to write the ruling. The ruling is generated by AI. The kangaroo is also not real.
- Google Fonts: the page loads its fonts from Google, so your browser contacts Google for them.
How long
Cases are deleted automatically 30 days after they are filed, with everything in them.
Cookies
No ads. No tracking cookies. No analytics. The browser keeps only:
- the invite cookie, so you don't need the code again;
- a court id cookie and your seat tokens (in local storage), so reopening the link puts you back in your seat;
- whether you turned the sound off.

Kangaroo Court is a private test among friends. Its rulings are final, binding, and meaningless.
